Currently all fabric is pre-cut to size as nominated.

Refunds and Exchanges

If the product is damaged or faulty, or we have sent the wrong product, we will refund both the product and postage fee (if applicable). We don’t offer refunds or exchange for incorrect purchases once fabric has been cut. We do not assume responsibility for items once they have been shipped. 

 

Fabrics which are cut, washed or altered are not eligible for a refund or exchange.

If you have any queries in regards to a pattern you have purchased, please contact me so we can discuss and resolve any queries or issues.

Cancellation Policy

Once your order has been processed, our fulfilment process begins. If your order has not yet shipped, we are happy to accommodate any changes to your order. We pride ourselves on fast shipping however if your order has been shipped, we cannot make changes or cancellations.

 

As a general rule, we do not offer cancellations. This particularly applies on PRE-ORDER items as we order those fabrics based on the pre-sales of those fabrics. If you decide to cancel your order before it has shipped, you will be charged a 20% restocking fee. 

 

Refunds are processed within 5-7 business days from the item(s) being returned to our shop. All refunds are issued against your original form of payment.

 

Preorders - ALL preorders are non-refundable and non-cancellable.

 

Blocks of the Month are non-cancellable within 30 days of the start date or during the block of the month.

 

Pre-Order Items

Pre-order items (such as fabrics, kits, templates and patterns) are not subject to any sales or promotions of any kind.   They are found in our Pre-order section.  Placing a pre-order means that you are reserving the item (fabric / kits / templates / patterns / etc.) by paying for it up-front, before Breakaway Designs has received it.  Breakaway Designs does not have the fabric is stock when it is listed as a pre-order item.  All pre-order stock is shipped as soon as possible upon supply of items and you will receive a tracking information at that time via email.

The estimated date of arrival is noted clearly in the pre-order listing.  Unfortunately, its arrival is not in our control, sometimes manufacturers can experience delays or mis-shipments.  If there is an issue with your pre-order (delays, missing items, etc.) we will contact you immediately to make you aware of the situation.

Be aware that all pre-order sales are final and cannot be cancelled, altered or traded or combined with other orders. 

Please do not order IN STOCK items with your pre-order.  We will not ship your order until the order is full filled with the pre-order items.

Domestic Shipping

There are no shipping charges on our pdf patterns and templates as these are downloadable.

​

Free tracked shipping in Australia on orders over $200.

​

Shipping costs are automatically calculated and options are presented when viewing your cart and at Checkout.

​

Orders containing fabric and/or other items will be shipped as a parcel via Australia Post.  We aim to ship your order within 24 to 48 hours of order receipt.  Please allow 2 to 7 days for delivery within Australia, depending upon location.  Express shipping is an option is you require the item/s sooner.

​

If by chance your parcel is returned to us as a result of not being collected from an Australia Post depot within their time frame, you will need to cover the costs for us to resend the order.

​

** Please note**  COVID-19 is delaying postage within Australia significantly.  Orders within Australia may take 10 – 15 working days to reach their destination.  Whilst Express is a quicker option, but still may be delayed.  Refer to the Australia Post website for more COVID-19 updates regarding their delivery timeframes.

Express Shipping

You can select Express shipping as an option.  This means you order will be delivered to you quicker by Australia Post, but it does not mean your order will be processed above other orders.   If you do require your order by a certain date, please indicate this in the customer notes, and we will endeavour to accommodate your request.

International Shipping

There are no shipping charges on our pdf patterns and pdf templates as these are downloadable.

Additional Information​

We will always ship to your PayPal address unless specified otherwise.  It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure the address is correct.

​

We do not price match other businesses.

Due to the variations in screen colours, we do our best to describe the colour of the fabric you are receiving. We encourage you to also view the fabric on the manufacturer's website if you are concerned.
