Can I get email notifications when you have a new blog post?

What types of payment do you accept?

There are two payment methods available: PayPal and Credit Card.

PayPal

With PayPal you can pay using a credit card, debit card or bank account. If you don’t have a PayPal account you can still pay using a credit card by checking out as a PayPal guest.

​

Credit Card

Credit card payments through direct checkout are processed using Stripe. The following credit cards are accepted: Mastercard, Visa and American Express.

​

Credit card information is not stored or processed on our website; payment information is securely transmitted directly to Stripe’s server without it passing through our server so you can be assured your credit card information is safe.

What currency are your prices in?

My prices are in Australian Dollars (AUD).

I just missed a sale - will you honour the sale pricing?
Unfortunately, no, we cannot.  However we suggest signing up for our newsletter so that you are always informed of our promotions. 

 

I placed an order and it still hasn't shipped!
All orders ship within 2-3 Business Days, unless the items are classified as PRE-ORDER. If so, you will see PRE-ORDER in the item title. Also, some quilt kits take an extra 1-2 days for processing as there may be a lot of fabrics to cut - these are specified in product descriptions.

 

My order contains items that are Pre-order and items that are in stock. Why haven't my in-stock items shipped?
All orders containing pre-order items are held until every Pre-order item has arrived. If you'd like your in-stock items to ship now, please place separate orders for all in-stock items and Pre-order items. We will not ship them separately if you only placed one order. 

 

How do I know when pre-order items arrive?
In each product listing, you will see clear information on when to expect fabrics to arrive. These items are available to pre-order and the arrival date is an estimation that is subject to change without notice. We cannot guarantee ship dates, however, we can guarantee that we will ship your order within 48 hours of receiving the item.

What is your Pre-order policy?

Pre-orders are new items yet to be released, available in the Pre-order section.  Placing a pre-order means that you are reserving the item (fabric / kits / templates / patterns / etc.) by paying for it up-front, before Breakaway Designs has received it.  Breakaway Designs does not have the fabric is stock when it is listed as a pre-order item.  All pre-order stock is shipped as soon as possible upon supply of items and you will receive a tracking information at that time via email. 

​The estimated date of arrival is noted clearly in the pre-order listing.  Unfortunately, its arrival is not in our control, sometimes manufacturers can experience delays or mis-shipments.  If there is an issue with your pre-order (delays, missing items, etc.) we will contact you immediately to make you aware of the situation.

​

​Be aware that all pre-order sales are final and cannot be cancelled, altered or traded or combined with other orders. 

Please do not order IN STOCK items with your pre-order.  We will not ship your order until the order is full filled with the pre-order items.

In what format will I receive the patterns?

This will depend upon whether you bought a PDF pattern or paper pattern. 

  • If you bought a PDF pattern – this will be provided as PDF (Portable Document Format) files. You will need Adobe Reader to be installed on your computer to view and print the files.  You can download it for free if you don’t already have it http://www.adobe.com/

  • If you bought a paper pattern – this will be posted out to you.

Can I sell products I make from your patterns and templates?

No, my patterns and tutorials are not intended to be used to make items for sale. Please refer to my Terms and Conditions. All of my patterns and projects are intended for non-commercial use only.
