Breakaway Designs is owned by Anita Lorimer, designer, quilter and artist, committed to sharing Australia’s beautiful flora & fauna, unique landscapes and the joy of life.

 

Designs produced by Anita are influenced by her love of life, Australia, and modern aesthetics.  Having spent a large proportion of her life in either rural or remote outback areas this was a natural progression.

I have always loved textiles, and discovering quilting was like a light bulb moment.  I quickly discovered that I loved creating my own designs.  Fast forward to now, I not only have the delight of designing and making the quilt, but also seeing what others create from the pattern.

This has expanded to now included my hand screen printed designs.  Lovingly printed onto 100% high quality cotton ready for you to create something special with.
